Yerebatan Sarayi

It is a Turkish Basilica cistern.  Its name means, “sunken palace”.  Built in 6th century, it is one of the largest ancient cisterns that lies beneath Istanbul. The picture on the left is an image of the upside down Medusa’s head in Dan Brown’s Inferno.

Blue Mosque

Blue Mosque is the historical mosque in Istanbul. It is called Blue Mosque because of the blue tiles surrounding the walls. It was built between 1609 and 1616. It is a tourist attraction in Istanbul.
