S. is in The Territory and observing the governor’s house. On the margins Jen and Eric have a long interaction. Eric asks Jen if she found anything in Moody’s office and Jen answers:

• Didn’t find your tape (…)
• No Sobreiro (which I was hoping for.)
• Did find a piece of obsidian in a padded box + a mailer it might’ve come in – postmarked from Paris.
• Also: architectural plans for his house on a table w/ an estimate from Zwilling’s (which is who the university hired to redo the climate control in Special Collections.)

UNBELIEVABLE

I mean, we don’t know exactly what he’s planning to store there, but I’m not giving him the benefit of the doubt.

This interaction in Jen and Eric’s third round of notes, shows how the ongoing race against Moody and Ilsa hasn’t stopped. Although there is reason to believe Moody is wrong about Summersby, he has a certain amount of power in the university and various resources.
