S. and Osfour enter the city where invasion is going to happen soon. Everyone is alert about the invasion and the streets are full with Agents and collaborators. The atmosphere is similar to that of a curfew. They smell roasting lamb and cumin while they are observing the dark area with stone buildings with tiny cracked window openings. Osfour demands S. to keep his head down and pretend to be talking as Osfour thinks that being silent would make them look suspicious. However, he also doesn’t really want to talk to S.. So, Osfour asks S. to talk to him about nothing so that he really doesn’t have to care what S. is talking about as long as the main purpose of them talking to prevent suspicion is achieved.

The annotations is mainly Jen talking to Eric about going out for dinner. Ok: HINT: I really like the Moroccan place….Jen hints to Eric that she really likes the Moroccan restaurant in town after Eric talks about how he and ellsa both thought going to restaurants was a waste of time and money. Jen sarcastically comments how she imagined Eric and ellsa’s relationship to be full of “fun” moments.
