In the letter to Eric, Desjardins writes about giving Eric several items to scrutinise and use for the edification on matters of Straka and related volumes. He constantly points out to be confidential, and not to contact him about clarification due to safeties.
The word “autrem,” which is the beginning of the word “otherwise” in French (autrement), is crossed out.
In the end of the letter, “Scrutiny please, and confident.” Each word is separately underlined. It may just be an emphasis, or another code.
Also Desjardins says that the items
“for you only to be used for the moment when you understand their using.”
It seems as if he is hinting that certain things in the package won’t be clear until the whole picture is revealed.
