Photographs (Selected images from the Poulin Collection of Rutland Railroad photographs).
During the 1960’s Francis Poulin walked the entire length of the right of way of the Rutland Railroad and took photographs the entire way. His photographs were placed in about 25 3-ring binders which were purchased by the Rutland Railroad Historical Society in 1996. Well over 4,000 of the most interesting photographs in this collection were digitized by Randy Laframboise and are now available online. There is no coverage of the Ogdensburg Subdivision except between Alburgh, VT and Rouses Point, NY. Photographs which have not been digitized may be viewed at the Rutland Railroad Archives in the main library at Middlebury College. The Poulin Collection also includes over 5,000 color slides and the most interesting slides have been digitized and included in the pages below.
