Prof. Jeff Howarth’s Geography 310 class will be coming to Armstrong this week to look at old and new issues of National Geographic. Please be aware of the following special arrangements in case you’re working when one of them arises:
- We’re loaning Jeff a book cart to hold the volumes that the students will use. The book cart is near the supply shelves, marked with a yellow sign. Don’t reshelve the volumes on this cart!
- On Wednesday and Friday mornings, both group studies will be reserved for his class. Some students will probably scatter to other parts of the library.
- On Thursday or Friday, Jeff or Chester Harvey (Assistant in Science Instruction) might sign out some of the volumes so that they can scan them on the 6th floor. Signing out journals is, of course, an exception that requires permission from me…and I’ve now given permission to Jeff and Chester for these volumes.
