An important reminder to all students who work at any circulation desk. Older media, such as VHS tapes, and cassette tapes are vulnerable to magnets. Our desensitizing equipment have magnets in them. If any older media comes in contact with these magnets they will be erased. Also magnetic strips in credit cards, IDs and floppy disks are vulnerable to magnets, so keep all these away from the desensitizers. Main students this includes the check in machine.
