An FYI from Joseph:
A student recently set up a display on the counter of the Info Desk to promote an energy boosting drink that he sells. This is an inappropriate use of MC facilities and also implies an endorsement of the product. We don’t promote “for profit” efforts at the Info Desk or anywhere else. If anyone asks you if they can display something related to on-campus official College business (an office, a student group, a non-for-profit that students are supporting) and if they are simply putting up a poster on an existing bulletin board or adding something to the brochure rack at the Info Desk, you may consent. But if it is not directly related to MC, or if they want to do something like put up a large poster on an easel, please refer them to me or Doreen.
