This is a time of transition for some faculty, and faculty library accounts may display incorrect expiration dates until the annual contract process is finalized. If a renewal or check-out gives a shorter due date than expected, or if borrowing/renewing is blocked, please alert a supervisor immediately.
Supervisors, please adjust borrower record expiration dates as needed to facilitate borrowing and renewing for our faculty. Please refer unresolved questions to Elin. Thanks!

Guest Privileges
Highlights from the training meeting:
Guest privilege guidelines , and forms are available on the web and in hard copy at the Main Library. Due to budget and licensing parameters, not all services are available to guest users.
Guest printing is available for 10 cents per page. Guests must create a PaperCut account and use the designated guest printing stations.
Guest computing is available through the use of a computer generated daily password.
We welcome guest users, but our priority is to provide services and resources to students and faculty of Middlebury College.
Refer questions to a Circ supervisor.
Refer unresolved questions, concerns, or problems with library borrowing use and privileges to Elin.
Borrow Books During the Summer?
Academic Year students may borrow books during the summer.
As always, they are responsible for:
Knowing their due dates
Renewing as needed
Returning any recalled materials immediately
Reading their library notices
Staying in touch with Circ about any issues related to their borrowing
Remind students to check their library accounts and return or renew before they leave campus.
Please refer requests for extended loans to a supervisor.
Students who will be near our NExpress partner libraries during the summer can borrow directly from them – Colby, Bates, Bowdoin, Northeastern, Williams and Wellesley – with their Midd ID.
