Circulation Services – Circ, Reserves, and Stacks
Statistics:
• Most penalty points accrued so far: 502 (see Challenges)
• Students currently blocked due to penalty points: 19
• Currently “billed” equipment and reserves: 18
• Items on reserve: 1,700+
Highlights: (Progress towards Goals, accomplishments)
Armstrong:
• Fairly quiet
• A few plotter questions
• New Kindle and MAC chargers!
Davis Family:
• Penalty points!
• Sign-up sheets for all upcoming student scheduling changes
• Found students to work for ILL during Christmas break
• Steady activity at the desk
• Met to discuss CDs in the open stacks
• Nexpress conference call – only half of us called in and decided to bag it
• Good concert Saturday night
• Changed all the clocks Sunday
Stacks:
• Lots of returns
• Made reference stacks signage GREEN to differentiate from regular stacks
Reserves:
• Copyright course
• Met with Rebekah to discuss BL Faculty Authors
• Working on BL annual report
Space Team: Info desk survey
CT Team: Adaptive testing and Moodle 2 upgrade
Challenges:
• A few mysteriously missing Armstrong reserve books
• Penalty points were retroactive, to my surprise. Think we caught and fixed most of the problems
