Circulation Services – Circ, Reserves, and Stacks

Statistics:
• Non-media or key item that has circulated the most: 21 Grams (DVD) 291 circs
• About 900 items on reserve for the summer
Highlights: (Progress towards Goals, accomplishments)
Armstrong:
• Quiet
• Lots of fiche, film, and journals arriving
• Training new students
• Some poster printing
• Helped with a few Helpdesk issues
• Started pulling biological abstracts
Davis Family:
• Adding new mac fac/staff laptops to replace aging ones
• Training new students
• Billed firewire drive finally returned
• Bi-weekly meetings starting up – so far so good
• Set-up for Breadloaf
• Overdrive tutorial meeting
• Ran large list of “in process” items to be searched
• Final demos scheduled for HEAT replacement
• Assisted Ilsley with a hold issue they were having
• Finalizing goals
• Cleaning up maps of Davis
• Prepping for fiscal Millennium roll-over (stats)
• Circ students finished all June projects!
• Hired one student for four days so he could stay on campus before LS
• Pulling for reserves
Stacks:
• Small clean-up projects
• Reset shelving in Chinese section to accommodate larger books
• Shifted and cleaned M section of ref
• Shifted PN-end of ref to make room for language ref books
Reserves:
• Smooth Davison set-up; a few glitches (phone) but nice to have the full week ahead of time
• Connecting with Carrie re. BL liaison duties

Space Team: n/a
CT Team: Segue migration sessions canceled for June (no one signed up)

Challenges:
• Getting back long overdue equipment is like pulling teeth
• Students griping about their schedules
• Paging slips for requested items were not working (fixed)
• Language faculty already expecting full summer loans on equipment
