24/7: Headcounts overnight: 5636 vs. 4457 in the Fall.
Gate Counts overnight: 4150 vs. 4650 in the Fall.
Yellow cables: very low at Armstrong: less than 10 uses

Highlights:
• Welcome, Kim!
• General activity levels – calm at the front lines; returns still rolling in; lots of clean-up-from-spring-semester projects; getting ready for LS/BL; by Friday lots of pre-grad activity; parents and families touring the Davis Library; lots of visitors! Calm graduation weekend; book drops full
• Web – changing Main Library to Davis Family Library
• Student staffing and schedules – great team of students working the recess period, but could use higher numbers to help re-shelve books
• Successful lunch gathering for graduating circ and ILL seniors
• Circ staffing – shifting schedules and locations; reviewing staffing patterns, schedules, primary task assignments
• Hiring process ongoing
• Lined up all the VHS tapes throughout the library and knocked them down domino-style
• Planning for training and orientation

• Reserves – new procedure for batching inactive reserves; batch suppress personal copies

• Web Team – final recommendations; meet with AD’s to present; awaiting team reincarnation decision

Challenges
• Crazy Friday – lots of activity before Library opened – request for passwords, borrowing, renewals, Spec Coll hours, Vt Coll resources, equipment returns, requests for guest print support etc.
• Theft of laptop from locked thesis carrel cupboard
• Email issues
• Carrel and lockers keys returned in disrepair – broken, no tags, no barcodes, some neglect, some normal wear and tear etc.
• Staffing; staff taking time off; minimal student staffing and lots of projects that need help; staff stretched thin across 3 locations
• Guest printing requests with increase in visitors on campus
• Faculty research assistants printing
• Defining Circs role in processing ILL/NExpress
• Spike in claims returned issues; difficult to search
• Losing Steve (ed. note: Just misplacing him!)
