Armstrong – training three new students for summer session; Armstrong student had to leave earlier than planned, able to cover most shifts with some creative schedule shuffling
• BLSE: Successful set-up day; all reserves shelved by LC; workflow training; desk schedule in place; negotiating sub requests; collaborating on major shelf-reading, searching and updating records project; BL loan rule / notice text / workflow tweaking
• Mill Circ: email subjects for Ilsley notices
• Reserves: Processed and packed 46 boxes of books to deliver to Bread Loaf; Reserve books to Davison – unpacked boxes and put all books on reserve shelves; all shelved in LC call number order; assisted Bread Loaf liaison with “reading” shelves of all books in Davison Library; last minute reserve requests arriving for BL faculty; Language School starting to gear up with ERes and book reserve requests; 4 more boxes processed and packed for BLSE Reserves
• Stacks: student employee attended Circ training; routine work going well in staff absence
• Main: Shelf-reading and dusting projects; adjusting to the first wave of BLSE requests; quieter than expected week with LS; Browsing DVD project – new sleeves for titles with multiple discs, updating labels with disc number; helped with catalog searching project for Reference
• A couple of guest questions on new printing policy but no major issues
• Carrels and lockers slowly being used by LS and academic year students & faculty
• Weekend evenings: Generally quiet, Sat a little busier than Fri; re-shelving; training new student employees; very little clean up necessary in printer rooms: light traffic or the print release stations are working to minimize waste
• Music: catching up on ILL after the team meetings last week; trying to figure out a way to let a student employee help out another department
• Armstrong: Systematic came and fixed broken shelf control unit in the periodicals section; students are currently working on shelf-reading the stacks; starting a map cleanup project; quiet user activity; working on “clean-up” projects
• Equipment: Two new Flip cams! Updated go/equipment with quick tips and a link to the user manual; new Olympus digital voice recorders added to collection

Challenges
• Without the Arabic School on the Midd campus, a 10pm closing all days of the week during the 2 weeks in between the 9-week programs and the start of the 7-week programs may meet user needs
• Tweaking a few issues with public computers, telephone, staff computer passwords at Davison Library
