• Student employees: Main – have interviewed 11 students so far for potential summer employment; those not be available for summer work will be considered as potential fall workers; internship deadlines, LS financial awards and LS acceptance letters never all gel, so timing becomes tricky; have made a few offers to date; planning for the fall; will have a minimum of 11 vacancies; 6 are going abroad and 5 are graduating; planning for 24/7 spring exam schedules. Armstrong – re-advertised for summer workers; lots of sub requesting; gaps in the student schedule; annual performance reviews underway
• Main: Extremely busy checking equipment in and out; shelves almost completely empty of equipment; back to normal hours and workflows after Spring Break, continued late nights with laptop returns after closing, a run on locker checkouts, beginning to think about 24/7 staffing
• Wiki documentation: Quick Check workflow updates; Library hours guidelines
• Music: Continuing to explore equipment possibilities; expanding loaner pool offerings at Music based on CFA staff requests
• Planning for iii enhancement voting
• Mills and LS – brainstorming circ possibilities; borrowing policies; handbook edits
• Reserves: Reviewing policies for placing items on reserve at remote locations
• Armstrong: reviewing exam hours/guidelines; busy, busy, busy week! Armstrong packed most of the time; all computers in use constantly, often with patrons waiting for a machine; many requests; lots of questions about everything; printer runs non-stop
• The spring symposium in BiHall takes place next week; poster printing issues
• Equipment: Continuing to work on Music Library equipment wish list; working on timeline for growth of this pool; equipment item records maintenance; compiled list of equipment records to be deleted from Mill; cleaned up by Cat; continued coordination with Media Services for new remotes in LIB240A and LIB240B
