• Staff schedules – lots of flexing to cover absences at Main
• Ilsley/Midd meeting
• NExpress conference call
• Main: Moderately busy this weekend, especially Saturday; helpful to have experienced student employees on shift
• Searching monthly missing lists
• Paging activity up for Midd and NExpress requests
• Self-check functional and being used
• 24/7 planning
• Student schedules: Planning for WT and SP schedules at Main
• Reserves: Updating reserve procedures on the wiki
• Using new web 2.0 tools: blogs, wikis, toolbars
• Equipment: 15 new Canon Flash HD camcorders added to collection; updated go/equipment page with quick tips and link to user manual; flexing procedures to accommodate special requests
• Music – Music Sale: Sold roughly 60 items
• Stacks – 1 new assistant hired to replace 1; first phase of book shift moving along
• Workshops etc.: Tasty Tech Tidbits brownbag lunch; ALA TechSource Gaming, Learning, and Libraries Symposium (conference report on blog); HR Inbox Zero Workshop by Mike Roy (happily enjoying inbox zero for at least one day); playing with both Men’s and Women’s glee clubs on Sunday at 3:00; commons dinner

Challenges
• Unexpected student schedule gaps; staffed with student worker unfamiliar with Main
• Equipment: PC firewire drives in heavy use with 3 being repaired; overdue equipment, bookings jeopardized; heavy demand for Macbooks: 2 placed on Reserve, 5 booked off and on this week and next by one borrower (preventing regular 2 week loans)
• Stacks: lost 1 – 2 student workers
