Its astonishing the role comedy has played in this election cycle. Barack shows up on SNL for halloween, McCain announces his candidacy on Letterman; Thompson on Leno; Edwards on The Daily Show in ’04 (this time too?).
Now, I know he doesn’t believe in evolution, but Huckabee’s appearance on SNL last night is pretty funny:

i was reading about this sketch online and they did NOT make it clear that Huckabee was being funny. It made is sound like he bombed, which he clearly did not. I hate it when we are not given a chance to experience what actually happened and are only left with other people’s reactions. Great find. If anyone hasn’t seen the “Who created Huckabee” stuff from daily show, colbert and conan it’s pretty funny. i believe you can find it on youtube.
Yeah. Jon talked about the Huckabee gag he did with Stephen and Conan on the Larry King show last week. Its on youtube, but buried in one of the seven clips of the interview. But he basically said that it was really nice to do something with the other two and that it was pretty much the only fun he had during the strike.
