Statistics:
• Books and media on reserve: 1,100
• Reserves emails processed: 1,050
• Eres pages created: 102
• Gaps in the fall schedule: between 2 and 7, depending on what minute you look
Highlights: (Progress towards Goals, accomplishments)
Armstrong:
• Busy library
• Lots of printing
• Lots of questions
• Lots of requests for reserve books that professors have not yet placed on reserve
• New students being trained
• New iPad!
• New microform reader – working on configuring new computers to go with it
• Large bindery shipment returned (on the first day of classes!)
Davis Family:
• Lots of activity at the desk
• Instruction on how to print, find reserves, check out books, etc.
• Media equipment meeting to plan for the year
• Attended collections meeting with librarians
• Adjusting carrel loan rule
• Lots of activity in the student schedule, swapping, subbing, etc.
• More discussions about a bike rental program
• Starting billing process for Spring stragglers, summer
Stacks:
• Prepping carrels and for carrel day
• Figuring out stacks students’ schedule
• Set hours in Millennium
Reserves:
• see stats
• subs helping pull items for reserves
• Keeping head above water
Challenges:
• Entry rug at Armstrong soaked by rain storm – smells awful
• Power blip Tuesday created brief computer and stacks problems
• Writing this report from home while listening to Phineas and Pherb on TV
