Equipment -15 new Flash HD camcorders will be added to the Circ pool by Friday; coordinating long-term FS laptop loans for multiple groups across campus (thank you to Circ supervisors and Helpdesk for their assistance!); submitted updated text for LIS eNewsletter re: audio and recording devices available at the library
Main – lots of great support for Steve’s and Maura’s absences – go team! A special thanks to Karen for closing by herself on Sunday and for covering with minimal student staff support.
Music – Music book sale; name-that-blog contest going on for Music Library Blog
Monthly stats and lists generated
Created draft of new borrower loan period table; updated bills/credits info on borrower web pages
Armstrong – busy with user activity; ILL, Rapid, NExpress; continued space improvements/re-locating computer to improve access/use
Armstrong – assisted with set-up of new circ desk computers (thank you Helpdesk!); new desktop image
Demand for equipment up at Arm; Main is referring to Arm to fill requests
Stacks – paging activity up; shifting project progressing; Japanese gift collection shelved
Key Survey – request for feedback about training meeting in Oct

Challenges
Guest borrowers that expect media loans; Midd courtesy card holders not in borrower data base
Billing/replacement costs issues and documentation
Unexpected gaps in student coverage, trouble finding sub coverage nights and weekends
Demand exceeding supply for external hard drives, LCD projectors, and webcams
Computing/laptop requests for visiting WT faculty for whole semester use
