Circulation Services – Circ, Reserves, and Stacks
Statistics:
• Circs for February: 13,302
• Items on reserve: 1,178
• 25 carrel keys left in the first week of March. Unheard of.
Highlights: (Progress towards Goals, accomplishments)
Armstrong:
• Quiet week due to Winter Carnival
• New (old) copier/printer installed
• Got a few new mac chargers
• Monthly search list
Davis Family:
• Working on summer student hires
• Trained Jun to be a supervisor
• Working on finalizing laptop changeover
• New dongle storage seems to be working well
• New laptop for circ staff!
Stacks:
• L weeding continues, nearing end
• Need to weed in the DS’s – Brenda will work on it
• Shifting two aisles in the PR’s to spread out gap left by shift
• SpaceSaver here again today!
Reserves:
• Dwindling – a few requests each day
• All caught up on ERes
Challenges:
• A couple of very overdue reserves
• No resolution with Solar Winds over disappearing notes and history WHD issue
• Still cleaning up a few issues from the Nexpress failure last week
