Circulation Services – Circ, Reserves, and Stacks
Statistics:
• Items on reserve so far: 947
• Students eligible (today) for a thesis carrel: 121
Highlights: (Progress towards Goals, accomplishments)
Armstrong:
• Busy, but not crazy
• Reserves, recalls for reserves, etc.
• ILL and Nexpress picking up
• Several new students to be trained
• ShiftPlanner up and running
• Still waiting on a new computer for LARs software
Davis Family:
• All hands on deck pulling reserves for Kellam
• Training Megan
• Students are back
• Some student shift swapping, but not too bad
• Busy but not crazy at the desk
• Signage up for Penalty Points, but waiting to turn them on (end of the week)
• Tweaking the “put on reserve” web form to avoid faculty requesting purchases via that form
• Will probably hire a couple of new students to fill a few gaps
Stacks:
• Back from vacation
• Prepping for carrel day
• Student shifted to create around 30 empty shelves in the H’s
Reserves:
• That time of year…
Challenges:
• “We’re all fine here now…thank you…How are you?”
