Armstrong:
• Lots of printing and printing questions
• Weeding and recycling tons of books
• Shelf reading continues
• Attended all LIS training
Davis Family:
• Enjoying our new equipment
• iPads remain popular
• Lost one fall student, but have two waiting in the wings, so no worries
• Attended all-LIS training
• Working with Armstrong to fill a gap in student staffing after LS
• Sending requests for equipment loan extensions directly to Janine
• HEAT demos done, making pros and cons list, contacting other users
• Keep on keeping on
Stacks:
• Lots of language and reference reshelving each day
• All stacks signs upstairs fixed
• Weeding in the H’s is looking good
Reserves:
• Met with Carrie and Andy to discuss BL liaison duties
• Presentation by UVM librarian about Zotero
• BLWC requests coming in
• Fall requests coming in (*gasp*)
• R&R crew – planning LIS picnic in August
Challenges:
• Printer at Armstrong was offline due to a disconnected Ethernet cord
• Wrath of Humidity at Davison (printer problems)
• Walk-up at Davison still sporadically working
• Some BL paging slip workflow confusion
• Still finding patrons who are not in Millennium
