• Installed Bloomberg machine with Brian F in Warner and Davis
• Rebooted print release station
• library sees pretty much the same daily activity – busy in the morning, fairly quiet in the afternoon. Student staff say that the nights are the same.
• Ill requests are minimal most days
• map project ongoing
• processed and sent 9 boxes to BNB today
• I had another virus on my computer, Shawn to the rescue – again
Music:
• First items added to reserve for LS (in the last week of classes)
• Students anxious to be done
• Meeting today to discuss fall scheduling, acq, processing
Davis Family:
• Student employees and staff during the evening shift have been taking one hour to help re-shelve BL books in cartons downstairs. Kim has been devoting more time to that and she was also re-shelving all books on Main and Lower stacks.
• Equipment monitoring for overdue items: emails sent to those with delinquent items. We have been receiving more elements back as a result of emails. Staying in touch with Help Desk re repairs.
• Printed new labels for small equipment bags (i-pods, digital voice recorders)
• Coordinated student luncheon with Co-Op rep. I will arrive at 11:30 to help with the setup on Thursday, 8/12.
• Looking into the Wisconsin Library & Sciences Circulation Desk conference on Oct 1-2.
• Helping our patrons with questions, helping them to look up material in midcat, chasing down videos and so on kept circ busy
• We had missing DVD’s last week, some we found and others are still out there somewhere, but it was a consensus that we will more than likely find them when we do the shift.
• Checked in a shipment of ILL books coming back from New Mexico.
• Re-writing student job description in anticipation of consolidating the three branch JD’s into one – met with SEO to discuss logistics of this
• Met with Acquisitions to discuss lowering the default replacement fee
• Working on documentation for online carrel booking – will go out with other library info from the reference librarians to all seniors
• Student and staff schedules post-LS
Stacks:
• Late last week also began the flood of returns from the Breadloaf schools. This will keep us straight out for the next few weeks.
• After that is finish we can have students shelf-read several bad sections, i.e. the P’s and reference.
• Returns piling up
Reserves:
• Reserves: 65 boxes of BLSE reserves packed and sent back to main campus; thanks to Dan, Jack, and BL staffer for their help! Continuing to process Fall Term Ereserves. Set up BLWC reserve books; updated BLWC binder, signage, and Outlook schedule
• Todd, along with Circ supervisors and students, emptied and reshelved the BLSE reserves in TWO DAYS! All time record. Amazing job!
• Updates to Circ staff Drupal page complete

CT Team: Continued work on our final recommendation
Space Team: Survey sent to all campus; reviewed questionnaire feedback from Mary and Terry

Challenges:
• Keeping up with re-shelving
• Report of disruptive patrons (after the fact)
• Equipment dropping like flies
• Status of LIB124 (formerly known as Lee Kennedy) in flux; will need to find a new staging area for BLSE reserve boxes next year
