Highlights: (Progress towards Goals, accomplishments)
• Stacks – hiring; increased retrievals
• Thesis Carrels – preparations for Carrel Monday
• NExpress returnables conference call
• Requests – increase in paging slips for local and NExpress
• Main Circ supporting processing of Reserves
• Fall student schedules
• 6-month reviews completed!
• 1st week of classes
• Music – Hiring and scheduling students; Fall Reserves processing
• Main – Fall student schedule is completely full – 26 students active; 7 abroad/on leave; eliminating the 9-11 am shift is going OK. Once routines are established I am sure activities will be absorbed
• Armstrong – As always, we went from VERY quiet to VERY busy – overnight. Every computer in use, lots of printing. Lots of questions. Many reserves to process. Lots of student job applications filled out – fortunately few shifts to fill. Many of our wonderful student staff returned this fall. Librarians have many classes scheduled for 161 lab. ILL, Nexpress, Rapid requests are keeping everyone busy. As of this afternoon, Ariel was working!! As of this afternoon, Arm 203 printer out of order…
• Equipment – Coordinated pre-Fall Term equipment meeting: expecting increase in camcorder and FS laptop inventory, starting to plan for space behind Circ; Coordinating use of iPods for classroom needs with faculty members; 27 of 31 FS Dell laptops are checked out; half of Macbooks checked out; All firewire drives for PCs are checked out
• Increase in NExpress and local paging

Challenges:
• Banner payroll org problem – problems approving time
• Auditors – community, staff, high school students; guest users; not familiar with systems, policies, resources etc
• How to accomodate request for classroom laptops at MBH?
