They will be joining us to discuss their career paths and how their Middlebury experience made an impact on their careers after Middlebury.
They can help you answer the question, “What can I do with my liberal arts major or degree?”

Stepwise Summer 2023 Internship: Growth Marketing Intern
Founded by Seav Banus ’11, Stepwise is an online educational platform that offers actionable, step-by-step advice on how to save, invest and build wealth.
An exciting remote Growth Marketing Internship is available for summer 2023. There will also be an option to continue paid work, part time, during the 2023/2024 academic year. This is a paid position supported in part by the Center for Careers and Internships.
As a Growth Marketing Intern, you will help market the Stepwise platform, resources, and courses to enhance visibility and connect with potential customers. You will be responsible for designing a growth strategy to drive awareness of the brand, promote content, and drive inbound interest.

CCI Summer Internship Funding Applications Now Live!
Considering a summer internship? Great news! The Center for Careers and Internships has funding for unpaid summer internships and applications are open! This year’s grants may be used for remote, hybrid, or in-person internships.
2023 Summer Internship Grant Overview:
$4000 Summer Funding Grants support expenses related to unpaid summer internships for Sophomore Febs through Senior Febs.
$1000 First-Year Explore Grants support expenses related to unpaid summer internships for First-Years (including new Febs) and Sophomore Febs.
$1000 Arts Grants support short-term (3 weeks or less) experiential arts opportunities (e.g. residencies, apprenticeships, dance festivals, etc.)
Resume approval with a Peer Career Advisor (PCA) is required by April 5 before submitting application. (Resumes approved earlier this year or last year still qualify as approved.)
Meeting with a CCI Advisor to discuss your plans is required for First-Year Explore Grants and strongly encouraged for all other applicants. Schedule a meeting via Handshake.

Dark Castle Entertainment summer internship opportunity!
Dark Castle Entertainment is a production company formed in 1999 by Joel Silver (The Matrix), Robert Zemeckis (Forrest Gump), and Gilbert Adler (Tales From the Crypt) to focus on horror films. Click their IMDb page here to review a list of their most recent projects.
They are hiring a part-time intern (2-3 days per week) for eight weeks this summer 2023 in their Beverly Hills, CA office. This is an in-person unpaid experience. However, students could apply to CCI for internship funding before the deadline date.
Internship includes script coverage, research, and interacting with the executive team on projects assigned.

James leads the product design and research efforts for the Restaurants Team at Block. A whole lot has changed for restaurants in the past couple of years–to put it lightly. QR codes! Ghost kitchens?! Handheld ordering!! The pace of change doesn’t look to be slowing down any time soon and James’ team focuses on meeting the changing needs of their customers through Block’s product offering. Prior to joining Block, he gained experience in product strategy development, UX research, and product design with IDEO, fuseproject, IA collaborative, Webb deVlam, and marketing Evolution. James has a B.A. in Economics and Film & Media Culture from Middlebury
