I work at the circulation desk , and many students have been asking about memory sticks/ flash drives for check out . In the last two days, I got three requests. I thought I would suggest it to LIS since we have such a good supply of equipment, just in case it is something that can be considered.

Thanks for sharing these comments, Rachel! We’re exploring this possibility, along with some other options. We do wonder if small devices that are easily lost shouldn’t be loaned out. We’re still hoping to get a vending machine in the library; if that works out then perhaps we can make flash drives available for purchase if not for loan. Of course, flash drives are already available in the College Book Store, and files can be saved to a server such as Tigercat as well.
