What is your favorite non-academic activity?
There is nothing more peaceful than rowing on Lake Dunmore in Vermont’s beautiful fall season.
What is the number one thing on your Middlebury Bucket List?
I am on a personal journey to eat at every restaurant in the town of Middlebury. Other than that, I would like to visit all of the swimming holes in the area.
Where is the best view on campus?
The best views on campus can be found from the windows of Bi-Hall.
What is your quest?
My quest is to become the best person I can be, and to make a change that will remain long after I am gone.
Where is your favorite place to hang out with friends?
In Crossroads, or outside on the many Quads.
What do you struggle with?
I struggle with finding out how I learn best, and using my time effectively.
Why college? Why Middlebury?
I chose to attend college so that I could open up opportunities to better my life. Middlebury is a wonderful place to do that, and from all the information I had when picking a college, I saw that Middlebury helps students grow academically, socially, and emotionally. I couldn’t imagine myself anywhere else.
One piece of advice you would give prospective students in the admissions process?
Never be afraid of the unknown. As a child, we are afraid of the dark, fearing that it contains some sort of scary monster from our nightmares. Although we outgrow this fear, I think the adult equivalent is the reluctance to enter into an environment where we know nothing, a darkness in its own right. Always choose the option that is the most unpredictable; the worst thing in life is wondering what could have happened.
What would you be reincarnated as in your next life?
The next Royal Baby would be my top choice.
