Vacation
Today is my last day at work for three weeks.
While away, I will be visiting home. Leaving for college is a great way to realize how amazing parents are – I don’t think I truly appreciated all they do until I was struggling to be an adult in freshman fall. After my homecoming, I plan to fly to London and crash on my friend’s couch, completing a super low budget trip.
In the past three weeks I’ve experienced a variety of events. I’ve gone for long hikes, ran the majority of the TAM (Middlebury’s Trail Network), and given tours to families from all corners of our country and the world. From running to the dining hall before it closes, to hiding in the gym to avoid getting kicked out after hours, I went through the full experience of being a Middlebury summer employee.
There is no place I would rather be for summer, and I can’t wait to get back.
Bonus: A video of me from The Hunt, a 100+ clue scavenger hunt run during our J-Term.
