Saratoga Springs
Vermont is home to hundreds of things to do – despite the fact that it is the smallest state by population. Middlebury is located in the north and central part of the state, which provides a quick jumping point to many activities. Crossing into New York state provides even more things to do. The Adirondacks provide great opportunities to ski and hike, small towns exhibit beautiful and occasionally weird history, and cities exhibit some real character.
Saratoga Springs features a wonderful downtown, and is also home to Skidmore College. Although the town becomes swamped every August with fans of horse betting, the city remains a tourist destination during all of the warmer months.
Saratoga Springs will satisfy your sweet cravings with a variety of chocolate shops and bakeries. I ordered a milkshake from the store in the picture. Best milkshake ever.
The selection of stores with samples never, ever end.
Examples of public art line the downtown sector of the city.
Although there are many high end clothing stores, there are also little shops like the meditation and mystical outfitter pictured above.
Some dishes from Max London, a popular eatery located downtown.
