Proposed topic: Discover more about Postgraduate opportunities Cambridge. In this session, we’ll introduce the University of Cambridge and what it’s like to live and study at one of the UKs most historic universities. We’ll cover the key stages of applying and hear from a current student. There will also be opportunity for Q&As as part of the webinar.

In general, the sessions will be 45 minutes – 60 minutes long and will be held Mondays (or Tuesdays if Monday is a bank holiday) at 5:00pm GMT or BST. The topic and structure of the sessions will be determined by each partner university but might include a presentation, mini lecture or a student panel.
//Congratulations to S. Grady Welsh ’24 who was named a 2023 Goldwater Scholar! The Goldwater Scholarship Program was designed to foster and encourage outstanding students to pursue research careers in the fields of the natural sciences, engineering, and mathematics. Grady plans to pursue a PhD in ecology and study interactions between climate change and wetlands. The 413 Scholars this year were selected from 1267 natural science, engineering and mathematics students nominated by 427 academic institutions. //Congratulations to Aubrianna Wilson ’23 and Clark O’Bryan ’23 who were recently selected as Watson Fellows by the Thomas J. Watson Foundation! The fellowship provides funding for one year of purposeful exploration through a self-designed project. Clark will travel to Ireland, Rwanda, Bangladesh and Japan to explore how traditional builders and craftspeople are responding to a changing climate. Aubrianna will work with disability communities in Spain, the United Kingdom, Japan and Australia, exploring how dancers, actors, healers and advocates foster disability justice, empowerment and healing.
