    2. Classify variant- and gene-disease associations
    3. Support research projects that require curation of genomic knowledge
  2. Support the ClinGen’s mission to provide better access to genomic data
    1. Support the sharing of curated knowledge with the community
    2. Assist laboratories with data submission to ClinVar (www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/clinvar)
    3. Collect data from locus-specific databases to deposit into ClinVar
    4. Assist in the development of software tools for supporting variant and gene curation
    5. Assist in resolving variant interpretation differences between ClinVar submitters
    6. Assist Clinical Domain WGs in supporting gene and variant curation programs
