The Center for Immuno-Oncology (CIO) of the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute (DFCI) brings together world renowned clinicians, innovative researchers and dedicated professionals, allies in the common mission of conquering cancer through novel immune-based therapies.

The Laboratory Research Technician performs professional work in support of scientific research utilizing biopsy samples obtained from patients receiving immuno-therapy. Under general supervision, assists in determining the most suitable methods to be used in research; independently performs scientific investigative procedures requiring application of professional judgment and technology; interprets results and determines whether they are consistent with experimental goals; reviews literature; assists in the assembly, organization and interpretation of data.
