“I am officially running for president of the United States and we are going to make our country great again,” he said at Trump Tower on New York’s Fifth Avenue.
In this campaign appearance, Trump promises that the United States will outperform countries like China and Japan during his term. Trump proposes the steps to achieve “greatness,” including increased border security because undocumented immigrants from Mexico are ruining America.
By implying that these individuals are associated with drug and crimes, Trump firmly suggested a radical immigration policy that would prevent immigrants from entering the United States and deport those without papers.

Donald Trump visited Keene, New Hampshire and addressed thousands. In response to the global migrant crisis, the United States are planning to take in around 10,000 Syrian refugees in the next year. Once Donald Trump heard of this plan, he announced that if he is elected, he will send Syrian refugees in the United States back to Syria.
He also claimed that he heard that the Obama administration is planning to admit 200,000 refugees, which is inaccurate, because law dictates that only 10,000 Syrian refugees can be admitted during the fiscal year 2016.
He specifically states, “I’m putting the people on notice that are coming here from Syria… If I win, they’re going back.”
In correspondence, on November 19, 2015, two Syrian families were detained after their attempt to cross the border. The apprehended families were placed in custody at Laredo, Texas by the U.S Custom and Border Protection. Soon after the report was published, the Department of Homeland Security explained that the group had no affiliation to terrorism. Although DHS stated clearly in their report that the families had no connection with terrorism, Trump questions the identity of the families as associates of ISIS on Twitter.

During a rally in Las Vegas, while Trump was addressing his audience, he asked a Hispanic woman to come on stage with him.
He then asked this Columbian woman if they had any previous affiliation or rather, if their encounter was staged, which was further answered with,
“I’m Hispanic and I vote for Mr. Trump! We vote for Mr. Trump!” she screamed into the microphone. “Yes, Mr. Trump! We love you! We love you, all the way to the White House!”
Trump further insisted that this was their first encounter. The woman’s vibrant enthusiasm created skepticism of how credible this display of interest was.

Donald Trump held a campaign rally at Iowa Central Community College in Fort Dodge, Iowa.
At this speech, Trump not only targeted GOP candidate Ben Carson’s stabbing incident, he also compared Carson’s publicized confession of having a “pathological temper” to child molesting. As he mimicked Ben Carson’s alleged stabbing incident, he also stated that Ben Carson can not be assisted with his pathological temper,
“You don’t cure these people. You don’t cure a child molester. There’s no cure for it. Pathological, there’s no cure for that.”
In addition, Trump raised concern of how credible Ben Carson is when he mentioned that he had received a scholarship to attend the prestigious West Point Academy.

Donald Trump, the front-runner in the race for the Republican presidential nomination, headed to Mount Pleasant, South Carolina to hold his Pearl Harbor Day Rally on the U.S.S Yorktown. Having recently stereotyped Jews, Trump insinuated a new anti- Muslim plan that would entail increased surveillance in various mosques in the United States. He argued,
“Until we are able to determine and understand this problem and the dangerous threat it poses, our country cannot be the victim of horrendous attacks by people that believe only in jihad, and have no sense of reason or respect for human life.”
