Join us for an in-person information session about the Knight-Hennessy Scholarship at Stanford University on Wednesday, April 20 from 4:30-5:30pm in Library 201. A representative from the program will be on hand to answer your questions. Knight-Hennessy scholars receive full financial support to pursue a degree in any graduate program at Stanford – from PhDs in education, engineering, humanities, and sciences to arts degrees like DMA or MFA to professional degrees like JD, MBA, or MD. McCall MacBain Scholarship for Graduate Study at McGill University

The McCall MacBain Scholarship is a full scholarship for master’s or professional studies at McGill University in Montreal, Canada. Applications will open in June 2022. Students and graduates of Canadian and U.S. universities, as well as Canadians abroad, must apply by September 21. Ben Morris ’22 Awarded Keasbey Scholarship

Congratulations to Ben Morris ’22 who recently received a Keasbey Scholarship to support graduate study at Cambridge University! Ben is a senior Molecular Biology and Biochemistry major at Middlebury. With the support of the Keasbey, Ben will pursue a research-based master’s degree in Pathology, studying immune regulation in inflammation and cancer in Dr. Rahul Roychoudhuri’s lab at Cambridge. Three Middlebury Alumni Named Schwarzman Scholars!

Congratulations to Middlebury alumni Darren Chen, Amani Core and Christina Wiremu-Brook who were selected as Schwarzman Scholars! You can read more about them in the newsroom: https://www.middlebury.edu/newsroom/archive/2022-news/node/662029 .

The 151 Schwarzman Scholars in the Class of 2023 hail from 33 countries and 106 universities. Scholars pursue a one-year Master’s degree in Global Affairs with a core curriculum focused on leadership, China, and global affairs at Tsinghua University in Beijing, China. Scholars chosen for this highly selective program have demonstrated exemplary leadership qualities and the potential to understand and bridge cultural and political differences. Schwarzman Scholars live in Beijing for a year of intensive study and cultural immersion –attending lectures, workshops, and discussion groups; being mentored and advised by leaders across sectors; and traveling while developing a better understanding of China. Samvid Scholars Program (New!); Funding for Graduate Study, Deadline March 31, 2022

Samvid Scholars is a new, merit-based graduate scholarship for leaders and changemakers. Samvid Scholars was established in 2021 by Samvid Ventures to invest in the graduate education of future leaders who are committed to effecting positive change in society.    

The Samvid Scholars program supports up to $50,000 per year for two years of graduate study.   

In addition to funding for their graduate program, each Scholar will receive two years of leadership development programming to support them to continue to fulfill their extraordinary potential. All Scholars will have access to robust ongoing programming and will be part of an alumni community of mentorship, collaboration, and lifelong relationships.   Learn more at https://www.samvid.ventures/samvid-scholars/

An eligible candidate will:   

  • Pursue a full-time graduate program of 2 years or longer at a university in the United States, in one of the following eligible programs:   

o   MD  

o   MBA   

o   JD   

o   MPP   

o   MPH   

o   EdD   

  • MS/MA in the social sciences or STEM  
  • Be a first-year graduate student for the 2022-2023 academic year   
  • Have an undergraduate GPA of at least 3.5   
  • Be a U.S. citizen or DACA recipient
