Selected as a ‘CNN Hero,’ Rick Hodes, MD ’75 has been living and working in Ethiopia for over 30 years. Based out of a busy Addis Ababa trauma center, his work is concentrated around spinal deformities such as scoliosis, kyphosis, tuberculosis of the spine, and polio.
Dr. Hodes is looking for a Midd grad to come assist him for 6-12 months. The opportunity will include time in the clinic, research opportunities, as well as work with data, website updates, and social media. This is an amazing opportunity to receive unparalleled clinical mentorship and to meaningfully serve a struggling rural community.
