Application deadline 2/12/19

Middlebury alums Caroline Colan ‘17.5 and Gus Goodwin ’08 had this job in previous summers, and they would very much appreciate applications from other Middlebury students!

The Adirondack Chapter of The Nature Conservancy is seeking applications for a paid, full-time summer position, the 2019 Adirondack Conservation Associate.

The Adirondack Conservation Associate is a 10- to 14-week position for college-age students and recent college graduates, and is an opportunity to gain substantive experience and exposure to all aspects — threat abatement, communications, land protection and stewardship, fundraising, conservation science — of the Chapter’s work in the Adirondacks of northern New York.  The lead project will focus on conservation communications.  They are seeking a motivated self-starter with a strong interest in learning more about environmental conservation.

The complete position description and application instructions are posted online at www.nature.org/careers as job id #47265.

Applications are due Tuesday, February 12, 2019, and must be made online through The Nature Conservancy’s careers website. Our office cannot accept applications.
