Deadline April 30th!
It’s 2018. We live in a world where at the push of a button you can have a personal driver meet you on a street corner within seconds or you can get your favorite meal delivered right to your door. But, if you’re in an emergency – like a car accident, a house fire or even a sexual assault – you’re expected to dial 911, find and say an address closest to you, wait in one spot and hope that help arrives soon? We think that’s crazy. SafeTrek brings an outdated 911 system, built for the landline, into the mobile age.
As we expand our footprint and offerings, we’re seeking junior developers to help advance SafeTrek’s API. Our API was created to save valuable time when our users were at their most vulnerable. To get first responders to the right place, faster. Now, we want you to join us and use what we’ve created to build applications, products, and services of your own that save lives.
Requirements
- Execute projects that utilize SafeTrek’s API to solve pressing social issues
- Attend kickoff meeting (dial-in) and submit project concept
- Finish project no later than 1 week from kickoff meeting
- Demo project to SafeTrek engineer in closing meeting
- Complete program exit survey to provide feedback
