I wanted to share an exciting opportunity Citi is now offering for current first-years. The Freshman Discovery program is a two day cross-business onsite program for freshmen who self-identify as Black, Hispanic Latino, or female. The program will provide access to senior leaders, business overviews, case studies, and technical training to educate freshmen on the firm and the various program opportunities available to them. This is meant to be educational and to help set students up for success in the campus recruiting process. Following this program, there may be opportunities for students to take part in an accelerated recruiting process for opportunities during their Sophomore year should they wish to proceed.
Women who are interested in this program could become part of Citi’s Women’s Mentorship Program. WMP offers a unique opportunity for female applicants interested in Markets to be paired with successful women at Citi who come from similar academic backgrounds. Since its inception in 2014, WMP has helped young women coming from traditionally women’s colleges and liberal arts schools learn more about Markets at Citi and prepare for a successful career.
