HBX CORe (Harvard Business School’s online digital education initiative) info session Monday, 3/5 at 4:30pm

Join Gary Schwartz-Moore to learn more about Middlebury’s new partnership with HBX Credential of Readiness Program (CORe), Harvard Business School’s online digital education initiative. Designed by Harvard Business School faculty, HBX CORe is an interactive online program focusing on the fundamentals of business; it comprises three non-Middlebury credit courses: Business Analytics, Economics for Managers and Financial Accounting. Colorado Leaders, Interns and Mentors in Business (CLIMB) seeks to educate the leaders of tomorrow through providing high-quality internships and educational experiences. Through the CLIMB program, students from Yale, Middlebury, Brown, Stanford, MIT, Harvard, Wesleyan, Denison and Northwestern McCormick School of Engineering are invited to participate in 10-week internships in the Denver Metro area that complement their collegiate experiences and help them grow as leaders, entrepreneurs, and individuals.

Part of ANGI Homeservices (ANGI), they connect millions of homeowners across the globe with home service professionals through their innovative and user-friendly products. They’ve been named one of Denver’s Top Workplaces by the Denver Post for the last 5 years, and a day in their environment will tell you why. The Emma Bowen Foundation recruits promising students of color and places them in paid summer internships at some of the nation’s leading media and technology companies, provides the media and tech industries with a pipeline of young talent and emerging leadership, and advocates for best practices in diverse hiring, retention, and advancement.

The Emma Bowen Foundation is a media-focused diversity initiative that recruits promising students and places them in paid summer internships at some of the nation’s leading media and technology companies. Opportunities are at our more than 75 partner companies, such as Bloomberg, CBS, Comcast, Edelman, NBCUniversal, Nielsen, Spectrum, Turner, Warner Brothers, and Weber Shandwick. Applicants to our program are interested in careers in the:
· Business of Media (finance, sales, human resources, marketing, public relations etc.)
· Innovation of Media (computer science, engineering, data science, information technology, software development, etc.)

Selected students will have access to:

Our interns are placed in cities where they spend their college summers. Many of our interns are converted to full time hires after college graduation.
