Wendy Whelan was a principal dancer with the New York City Ballet. She is a guest artist with The Royal Ballet and the Kirov Ballet. She has performed all over the U.S., South America, Europe, and Asia. Whelan has also been an influential guest artist with Morphoses/The Wheeldon Company. In 2012, as her career at New York City Ballet began to wind down, Wendy began to develop new collaborative projects. Her inaugural project, “Restless Creatures: premiered at Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival in 2013, and is the subject of a documentary currently on Netflix.
