Research Data Associate – Emergency Medicine at NYU Langone Health

We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Research Data Associate within the NYU Ronald O. Perelman Department of Emergency Medicine’s Research Division. In this role, the successful candidate will enroll emergency department patients across participating sites in English and Spanish to support a Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) funded research project that aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene’s Relay program for opioid overdose prevention.   

Research Data Associates will be responsible for patient recruitment, consent, enrollment, and accurate data collection. Research Data Associates will additionally contact and track study participants for follow-up assessments, perform data entry, and assist with data management. Research Data Associates will work directly with patients in the emergency departments across participating sites in New York City and also with a team of other research staff, and will report to the study’s Project Manager and Principal Investigator (Kelly Doran, MD, MHS). Research Data Associates will participate in weekly research team meetings.

Research Technician I-II, Biology of Tumor Cell Clusters at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center

A research technician position (full-time) is immediately available in the Cheung laboratory within Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center’s Translational Research Program. The Cheung lab focuses on molecular mechanisms explaining why tumor cells invade and metastasize as clusters of cells. Through our studies, we aim to uncover the fundamental principles of collective migration, intercellular signaling, and multicellular drug resistance. Our ultimate mission is to guide the innovation of new therapies for metastatic breast cancer patients.

Research Assistant, Traslational Neuroscience at Nationwide Children’s Hospital

The Hester Lab is accepting applications for a Research Assistant (applicants with a BS from backgrounds either in Neuroscience, Biomedical or Tissue Engineering, or Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology will be considered, additional backgrounds in Genomics/Bioinformatics/Statistics is a plus). Our team is part of the Institute for Genomic Medicine (IGM) at the Abigail Wexner Research Institute at Nationwide Children’s Hospital, which is at the forefront of using genomic sequencing in the clinical setting to predict best health outcomes for patients and is one of the driving forces shaping precision medicine. Led by a team of internationally-renowned genomic medicine scientists, IGM is housed in the campus’ newest research building, spanning ~25,000 square feet of laboratory and office space in a highly interactive setting.
