Stride Foundation is a non-profit dedicated to empowering girls and women through sports mentoring.
Stride’s Mentoring Program/Social Media Coordinator makes the mentoring magic happen by overseeing mentoring programs that run in the winter months: Sisters in Sport basketball mentoring; Snow Stars Alpine at the Snow Bowl and Snow Stars Nordic at Rikert Ski Touring Center.
Coordinator organizes mentoring between college team mentors and mentees. Coordinator also attends events, takes photos and video and updates web site and social media. Coordinator organizes end of season celebration for Sisters in Sport program. Internship is a minimum of 25 hours per week and requires some travel to mentoring events. Excellent opportunity to gain experience working in non-profit sector in communications and programs.
