I would like to inform current Middlebury College seniors and recent alumni of two clinical research coordinator positions that have recently opened in the lab where I work. I invite any interested individuals to contact me to learn more about my experience and about the research currently being conducted by Dr. Stacey Sigmon at the Vermont Center on Behavior and Health at the Larner College of Medicine, University of Vermont.

Dr. Sigmon and her team are looking for applicants with a Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as behavior or biological sciences, psychology, social work, or medical field. Research coordinators will help to conduct grant-funded research projects evaluating a novel interim buprenorphine dosing regimen for reducing illicit opioid use and other risks (e.g., opioid overdose, contraction of hepatitis and HIV, and premature death) during waitlist delays for opioid agonist maintenance. Applicants should possess the necessary interpersonal skills require to work with challenging clinical populations and have the ability to maintain a thoughtful and respectful interactions with research participants and staff.
