Volunteer Mariposa Girls Group Leader
Post Start Date: July 1, 2010 – May 30, 2011

Position Description:
Adolescence is a critical time in life for all children, but for girls it will chart the course for the rest of her life. The Mariposa DR Foundation is looking for a volunteer to work intensely with girls at this crucial moment of transition by leading one of our adolescent girls groups. The Mariposa DR Foundation commits following these girls throughout their entire adolescence, providing them with access to mentors and the tools they need to become active community leaders for social change. Intern Executive Assistant
Post Start Date: July 1, 2010

Position Description:
This unpaid internship position is ideal for someone who is interested in pursuing a career in the not-for-profit sector and seeing firsthand how they are run administratively.  This position is primarily administrative, but will include some logistical coordination for programs.

The primary aspect of this internship will include working directly with The Executive Director and the Associate Director of the newly formed Mariposa DR Foundation.  The Executive Assistant Intern will and be involved in all aspects of running a small international non-profit, including attending various meetings, events and daily operations.
