CEI is an innovative non-profit organization taking a unique approach to eliminating educational inequity in China by enlisting the US and China’s most promising future leaders in the effort. The teaching fellows program offers a unique opportunity for promising future leaders to serve in year-long teaching positions in low-income minority communities in rural China. CEI is also the first and only non-profit organization in China to pair graduates from top universities in the US and China in a long-term cross-cultural service initiative. Participants will become enter a society of internationally connected leaders who understand firsthand the challenges facing students in low-income Chinese communities, and who share the insight and conviction to advance the cause of educational equity at the highest reaches of academia, business, non-profit, and government. Teach Kentucky recruits college graduates to teach in urban middle and high schools throughout the Greater Louisville, KY area while enrolled in an alternative route to certification Masters in the Art of Teaching (MAT) with the University of Louisville’s College of Education and Human Development. We also offer:* Significant tuition reimbursement for math, science & special education.
