For students interested in writing, directing or acting for the screen as a possible profession, this is a three week unpaid internship in the writers room of the CBS television show S.W.A.T. as well as shadowing the development company MiddKid Productions, founded by Middlebury College grad Shawn Ryan (’88).
Students will observe (and even contribute) to creative conversations about S.W.A.T. and other shows in development, witness the pre-production, production and post-production aspects of making a television show.
Students will be expected to conceive, develop and pitch their own ideas for a television show, as well as give feedback on other students’ ideas for shows.
If cost is an obstacle to traveling to and living in Los Angeles for this three week period, please apply anyway and, if accepted, we will assist with your costs.
