Come learn more about the behind-the-scenes work of grant approval process. United Way is seeking Middlebury College student volunteers to participate in a community grant process as part of an impact team in the area of financial stability. Volunteers will read each grant application, conduct site visits as a group at local organizations, score the applications and recommend funding amounts for the UW board of directors to approve. The work takes approximately 25-35 hours between the last week of January through the last week of March, accommodating for absences over February Break and Spring Break. Enthusiasm, curiosity, and a sense of humor are valued highly!
