Anaïs Frantz de Spot, a faculty member of the School in France and a Lecturer and Research Scholar at the University of Paris 3-Sorbonne Nouvelle, and colleagues from the “Violette Leduc” research unit at ITEM (Institut des Textes et Manuscrits modernes), are organizing a symposium this Friday and Saturday, October 17-18th 2014, on 20th-century French author, Violette Leduc. 2014 marks the 50th anniversary of the publication of one her most well-known texts, her autobiography: La Bâtarde. The symposium will take place at the Ecole normale supérieure and Paris 3 and will focus on the state of current research on the author and her works.
