In this chapter, Commander Diego Garza is arrested “‘for his role in the murder of Edmond Kirsch, as well as his attempts to implicate Bishop Valdespino in that crime'” (p. 248). Mónica Martín also announces that Langdon has taken Vidal hostage, and Suresh Bhalla receives a message from monte@iglesia.org suggesting that Valdespino is hiding something.
