EBF promotes a more diverse industry by recruiting promising students of color and placing them in multi-year paid internships at some of the nation’s leading media and tech companies, such as Comcast NBCUniversal, Discovery, Hearst Television, the New York Times, the NFL, Spectrum, and ViacomCBS.
Do you have a favorite streaming service, sports channel or news outlet? Whether you’re interested in being a producer, a journalist, a web developer, an engineer, a business executive, a PR agent, a sales representative, or any other career in media or tech, the EBF Internship is here to help you get your start. If selected as an EBF Fellow, you will have the opportunity to immerse yourself in these organizations so you can learn, grow and put yourself on the fast-track to career success.
We focus on 3 professional tracks: business, content, and innovation. EBF fellows are exploring careers in sales, human resources, marketing, journalism, finance, production, software development, engineering and more. We know the EBF experience is making an impact; more than two-thirds of our alumni go on to careers in media and technology.

The Multicultural Advertising Intern Program (MAIP) is a 22-week, nationwide fellowship for diverse college juniors, seniors, graduate students, and portfolio school students interested in beginning their careers in marketing/advertising.
We are excited to share that the application for summer 2022 is currently open! Students must be a college junior/senior, or grad/portfolio school student during Fall 2021 and must identify as one of the following:
– American Indian or Alaska Native
– Asian
– Middle Eastern
– Black/African American/Afro-Caribbean
– Hispanic/Latino
– Native Hawaiian or Other Pacific Islander
– Multiracial (must include at least one of the above)
