Thank You for Making the Winter Clothing Closet a Resounding Success!

Dear Middlebury Faculty and Staff,

We would like to publicly express our profound THANKS to everyone who helped out in making this year’s Winter Clothing Closet a tremendous success. With your generous donations and help collecting items, we were able to provide warm clothes for around 120 students in need of them, focusing on international and first year students about to experience a northern winter for the first time. We even had a few articles of clothing left over that we will be donating to the Neat Repeats resale shop in town, whose profits go toward funding a number of causes in the Middlebury area.

To all of you who helped make this drive possible – your efforts are very much appreciated and will be even more so in the coming months by the students who now have the means to enjoy the winter without freezing!

Sincerely,

The CRAs (Galen, Nadia, Nial, Stanis, and RD) and ISSS

Winter Clothing Closet is Back!

The Commons Resident Advisers (CRAs) and the International Student and Scholar Services Office (ISSS) are partnering up once again for the annual Winter Clothing Closet, a winter clothing drive to provide warm clothes for new students who need them (especially those from warm places!) for free.

Do you have any warm clothing articles that you no longer use, stuffed away in a closet somewhere (especially coats, hats, sweaters & mittens/gloves)?  Please consider donating them to our drive!  Your support is VERY much appreciated!

Dear Middlebury Faculty and Staff,

We would like to publicly express our profound thanks to everyone who helped out in making this year’s Winter Clothing Closet a tremendous success. With your generous donations and help collecting items, we were able to provide warm clothes for around a hundred students in need of them, focusing on international and first year students about to experience a Vermont winter for the first time.
